IONCOR’s Energy Pack Cubic is a modular battery system developed for off-highway and heavy-duty applications with strict spatial and packaging constraints.
Designed for series deployment, it enables OEMs to electrify machinery with a compact, geometry-optimized solution based on a proven, production-ready platform.
Built on the same platform architecture as Energy Pack Long, Energy Pack Cubic delivers comparable performance while maximizing volume efficiency in space-constrained installations. The system achieves high energy density of up to 265 Wh/l, supporting efficient energy storage within limited installation envelopes.
The system is based on a Cell-to-Pack architecture, integrating cells directly into the structure to reduce weight and improve packaging efficiency. With dimensions of 1038 × 565 × 495 mm (L×W×H), the cubic format enables flexible positioning and optimal use of available space, supporting applications where installation geometry defines system design.
Energy Pack Cubic is engineered for demanding off-highway use cases such as construction equipment, material handling, and other machinery with complex packaging requirements. The system supports continuous operation with liquid cooling, high ingress protection (IP6K9K/IP67), and reliable performance across varying operating conditions.
Delivering 79 kWh per pack at 666 V, the system supports scalable configurations aligned with application requirements. Fast charging from 10–80% in approximately 25 minutes ensure reliable performance and high availability in demanding duty cycles.
The system is designed for operation in demanding conditions, with an operating temperature range from −30°C to +60°C. Liquid cooling and a safety-certified battery management system ensure stable and safe performance. Flexible mounting and standardized interfaces support integration across different machine architectures while reducing development effort and minimizing application-specific R&D.
Built on IONCOR’s modular battery platform, Energy Pack Long shares a common architecture and interfaces and integrates a safety-certified battery management system developed by IONCOR in Europe, ensuring high standards of system security, data integrity, and regulatory compliance. Developed and manufactured in Europe, it leverages full value chain capabilities and high-volume production expertise, with more than 3 million battery systems delivered to date, and is designed to meet key international standards.
The result is a compact and scalable solution that supports fast integration, predictable performance, and reduced program risk.
